LUSH FLOWER

A subtly fresh and green top note appears and then fades away, leaving space for the jasmine in all its glory. It reaches the height of its luminous and untamed power with the help of the floral narcissus, ylang-ylang, and lily. Patchouli, oak moss and leather bring a modest – yet suggestive – veil on top of this astounding floral composition.

Jasmin is one of the soliflores created in 1937 by Paul Vacher, who enjoyed experimenting with different compositions. Much later, Rodrigo Flores-Roux discovered the perfume when his English teacher wore it, simultaneously triggering a fiery admiration for this floral chypre scent and his calling for perfumery. It was with great pleasure and trembling excitement that he reworked the fragrance for Le Galion in 2020.

« This fragrance is very dear to me. It is an immense privilege to get to know it so intimately, deconstructing it with the aim of patiently building it back up again, recreating its aura and contributing to its reedition. Of course, the jasmine note is central, but the darker tones of patchouli, moss and leather make it resonate like a clever and devilishly wild chypre. »
